How we make every customer happy, every time

Use this checklists to deliver a quality cleaning to happy customers everytime and avoid refunds and re-cleanings.

Basic Home Cleaning

Kitchens

Main Kitchen Areas

  • Wipe down towel racks
  • Clean outside of cabinets and wipe down all sides 
  • Wipe down kitchen backsplash
  • Clean any cobwebs
  • Clean window ledges
  • Wipe outside of the refrigerator
  • Wipe outside of oven & stovetop
  • Clean inside & outside of the microwave
  • Remove items to clean & polish countertops
  • Replace items in the original locations
  • Dishes (clean & place in dishwasher)
  • Empty & replace trash can bags

Kitchen Floors & Mats

  • Vacuum mat & clean underneath
  • Clean cracks where the floor meets the wall
  • Get dust from corners
  • Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors

Bathrooms

Bathroom Sinks & Mirrors

  • Clean mirrors (don’t leave streaks)
  • Clean sinks
  • Shine chrome spouts & handles
  • Countertops (special products for marble & stone)
  • Clean space where the sink meets the wall

Bathroom Tubs & Showers

  • Scrub tubs & showers (pay attention to creases)
  • Clean showerhead
  • Clean shower curtains
  • Clean shower, tub base & grout
  • Wipe tubs & showers dry after cleaning

Bathroom Toilets

  • Scrub inside with bowl cleaner & brush
  • Wipe sides & seat area
  • Wipe around the base & grout near the floor
  • Wipe behind the toilet & include the floor
  • Sanitize area with cleaner

Bathroom Floors, Mats, & Others

  • Sweep or vacuum mat
  • Mop tiles
  • Clean cracks where the floor meets the wall
  • Remove mats from the floor & clean under them
  • Clean floors behind doors (the areas that are hidden when the door is closed)
  • Empty & replace trash can bags

Other Areas

  • Dusting ceiling fans (as needed)
  • Dust & clean window sills
  • Dust electronics & TV (be careful!)
  • Make the beds (change sheets if clean sheets are provided)
  • Empty & replace trash can bags
  • Clean inside & outside of sliding glass doors
  • Sweep, mop, & vacuum all floor surfaces
  • Light dusting of furniture (tables, ottomans, media centers, ect…)

Deep Cleaning (+basic cleaning items)

What’s Included with Deep Cleaning

  • Baseboards
  • Dust AC vents
  • Light switches and power outlets
  • Doors (door frames, door handles, & doors themselves)
  • Dust blinds (both sides, if wet wiping is required let us know so we can add it)

NOTE: For homes that need a little extra elbow grease, communicate with the office. We may need to add extra TLC or heavy-duty to compensate for additional challenges. 

Move-in/Move-out Cleaning (+basic cleaning items)

What’s Included With Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning

  • Baseboards
  • Dust blinds (both sides)
  • Clean window sills and window tracks
  • Inside windows

Extras: Do If Included

Extras are additional items customers pay more to get done. If there are extras listed in the job description, make sure they’re completed in addition to normal cleaning items.

These extras can be applied to basic, deep, or move-in/move-out cleanings.

The client is paying extra for these and you’re getting paid more too. So don’t miss them! 🙂

  • Inside of refrigerator (includes freezer)
  • Inside of oven (only when NOT self-cleaning)
  • Baseboards
  • Dust blinds (both sides)
  • One load of laundry
  • Doors (clean doors, frames, & handles)
  • Dust AC vents
  • Eco-Friendly (use products like water & alcohol)
  • Walls (scrub visible dirt & any cobwebs off ALL walls)
  • Extra TLC: Challenging cleaning that require extra work (+1 hour)
  • Heavy duty: Extra challenging homes that require extra effort (+2 hour)

Inside Windows

  • Dust blinds (both sides)
  • Clean window panes
  • Clean window tracks

Inside Cabinets (includes drawers)

  • Remove everything from inside of cabinets and drawers
  • Clean & dust the inside of the cabinets
  • Replace cabinets contents

 

NOTE: If a customer requests one of these in person make sure it’s shown on the job in the app. If it’s not, we’re not getting paid for the extra services. If this is the case, call the office and let them know so we can work with the customer to add the service if time allows.
